General Thoughts

Randi is a great 6-star character that is from the Square Enix game Secret of Mana. He is a Physical Damage character and has skills designed to make him good for use.

He has a lot of boost skills to make his attacks stronger which is good for him to have because his normal attack is already very good. He also has some defense boosts giving him better-surviving rates.

With his skills, he is outfitted with several different skill passives. Spirit Slayer, Beast Killer, Undead Killer, and  Dragon Killer. All of these offering a 50% damage bonus to the monsters of those specific types.

So having Randi as a basic attacker is a great way to utilize him. His other skills have some good damage but you could definitely get away with just using him for basic attacks.

Randi is a character based on his equipment and he gets a lot of it. Being able to equip 10 different kinds of weapons really gives him a lot of variety.

His final skill Her of Legend boosts his Attack by 35% and his Defense, and Spirit by 20%. This is a pretty big boost with all the others he already has making him a very good attacker.

And his limit break Torpedo Slash does heavy damage to a single target. So on his own he is a great damager.

His downside is the fact that he has almost no attack skills at all. He’s only outfitted with one and his extra materia and that’s very low for an attack character to have.

Verdict: Worth obtaining for the high natural attack damage. Trust master reward is decent as well. However, I still think other attackers like Noctis outshine him by a lot.

Lore

A young boy who fought with a legendary holy sword in a world protected by the great power of mana. Though he was brought to Potos Village when he was very young by his mother, he soon found himself completely alone and without any family, at which time the village head took him in. However, seen as an outsider, he was picked on by the local bullies, and unfortunately grew up to be a very timid and cowardly little boy. Then one day, having pulled out the legendary holy sword, Randi set off to save the world in which the balance of mana had begun to crumble.
