Rosa just became the best dungeon delving healer in the game, and yes that is a thing. What Rosa lacks by not having party buffs abilities like Cheer or Focus, she more than makes up for in her astounding ability to remove any status effect, replenish her own mana, and the mana of the party members as well. Rosa’s role just became Dungeon-Delver-in-Chief.
Rosa comes with all the healer basics, can remove any status element without using up an ability slot, and has some rather nifty tricks which include Dispelga (Remove all status effects from all enemies), Bless (Heal (10MP, 0.1x) over 3 turns to all allies) and MP Stroll (Recover 2 MP while walking every 3 steps). MP Stroll keeps Rosa going strong in dungeons, and Bless keeps the rest of your party going strong as well.
Goddess Bow (Type: Weapon (Bow), Stats: ATK+91, SPR+40, Additional effect: Bird Killer) just surpassed Killer Bow as being the best in slot for bow users. The addition of the +40 spirit makes it a viable weapon for healers as well. Maybe with this bow Artemios finally could be useful.
Miracle of Baron (Base: Heal HP (60%) and MP (20%) to all allies – Max: Heal HP (79%) and MP (39%) to all allies) is the kind of limit break that makes Rosa awesome for dungeon delving. The ability to heal MP was a sorely lacking ability in this game making long drawn out fights all the harder, but now enters Rosa with her Limit Break and now doing tough dungeons like The Giant of Babel – Elite are made just a bit easier.
Verdict: Great abilities, great Trust Master Reward, awesome limit break. Rosa is overall a great healer that is going to be useful for a lot of end game content. Her lack of party buffing could be augmented by a having a good support unit so even her one weakness can be mitigated. Overall Rosa should be a welcome addition to any teams’ roster.
