A while ago, I talked about Boku dake ga Inai Machi on a list. Now, if you are like me then you have the same attention span as Dory from the Finding Nemo. You may “remember it” but most likely you need a reminder of what it’s actually about.
Not to worry, for I am here to give you a run down of the plot.
Satoru Fujinuma is somehow able to travel back in time, finding out after he got into an accident. Now, he must use his new powers in order to clear his name, because he is being accused of murdering his own mother. He makes the connection that this murder is linked an abduction that occurred 18 years earlier.
He goes back in time to change the future of his present.
An engaging premise, great art, and a superb mystery. Do you feel that? That’s my goosebumps going all over the place because of how good this anime is.

Light Yagami is one of the smartest students in high school but he is in a state of boredom and deplores humanity. He stumbles upon a book called Death Note, where you can write any name in the book and the person dies immediately after. Right after he conducts an experiment on it to see if it’s true, he starts a crusade to kill all the criminals in the world.
Little does he realize that the mysterious L is hot on his trail in bringing him down.
You can’t say that you’re a fan of anime and never have seen this series. It’s a crime not to, so go and watch this one of kind anime.
I’m a binge watcher because I don’t usually like to wait on shows on a weekly basis. This was the one show that I could not wait to binge watch.
Akane Tsunemori has just become a new recruit for the Enforcers, a team of jaded police officers who take care of the dirty work that the Inspectors will not do. As she works alongside with one of the veterans she finds out that the justice system that she believes in is very corrupt.
I don’t say this a lot but this is a masterpiece of an anime. It’s thought-provoking, a good amount of drama and tension, and has complex characters. A must watch for those who haven’t seen it.
Shinichi Kudou is a very intelligent young man who helps the police by solving cases. As he was on the trail of some perps, Shinichi gets drugged and left to die. He wakes to find out that he’s still alive but is now seven years old.
Now hiding his identity, he secretly helps the police while trying to find out who is responsible for the drug he took and to see if he can reverse the effects.
This anime is for those who enjoy the Law and Order shows. It is a very solid show, with a lot of great mystery.
Subete ga F ni Naru: The Perfect Insider
Souhei Saikawa and Moe Nishinosono are two University professors who wish to meet the genius programmer Shiki Magata, who lives in a research facility on a solitary island. As they visit her, they found out they are trapped and have to play a dangerous game that can cost them their lives.
This is a show that is a must watch for all. It is a slow build to get to the best stuff but it is worth it.
Now, we get into some of the very gruesome stuff.
Kenzou Tenma is one of the world’s renowned brain surgeons. One night he is left with an important decision that he must make which is he can only save one life: a little boy or the mayor. He decides to save the little boy but what he doesn’t know will change his life forever.
This is one of chilling anime that will give you a good shock.
Here’s something a little strange, to say the least.
When you die, there is neither heaven or hell just the bartender. He is there to challenge you on what seems to be ordinary games but as you play, your memories start to reveal themselves little by little to the bartender. What can this mere bartender gain by learning all of your secrets?
This is a total package of a great show. Emotional depth, empathy, charisma, mystery, intrigue it’s all here. Give it a watch whenever you can.
Welcome to the N.H.K.
A college dropout by the name of Tatsuhiro Satou has been in isolation for the past four years. He believes that there’s a conspiracy by a secret government called the N.H.K., that will turn everyone into mindless zombies with cute anime girls and porn. Is all of what he believes true or is it just all in his head?
This is a fascinating anime. It has a very good story, with great characters. A perfect blend of both humor and sadness. You have to watch this series right away.
Tokyo has been under a lot of stress due to the now known infamous Lil’ Slugger and his random attacks. Two detectives are on the case to solve this mystery. Will they find out the reasoning behind Lil’ Slugger’s attacks or will they consume to the paranoid themselves?
This is an all-star of anime’s director and character designer that says, “You have to watch this series right at this moment.” One of the very best series you will ever see. I guarantee it.
