In the near future, at Central Tanegashima High School’s, a Robot Research Club is in danger of losing its club status. The members try to do what they can to, hopefully, get the club back in good status, of which they are somehow in a conspiracy that seems a lot bigger than they realized.
This is a really cool show, with some smart writing in it and it’s extremely enjoyable. And just like with many of these lists I do in fact have plenty of more anime series to share with you. This is 8 Anime Like Robotics; Notes.
A promising up-and-coming ballet dancer, by the name of Rin Ogata, has suffered a serious injury while dancing and decided to quit. In college, she finds herself intrigued by a transforming motorcycle-like robotic vehicle called a “Rideback”. She soon finds that her ballerina skills make her a born natural on a Rideback.
Rideback is a show worth watching. It has all the makings of a fantastic show with a great plot, combined with top-notch voice acting and a complete spin on mechs.
Energy-conservative high school student Houtarou Oreki ends up with more than he bargained for when he signs up for the Classics Club and is begrudgingly dragged into an investigation concerning the 45-year-old mystery that surrounds the club room. With him and the other club members, they will find out the truth once and for all.
I’ll just say this right now, Hyouka is one of the best mystery anime. The mysteries are enjoyable, the character interaction is great and the animation is phenomenal.
Real Drive (RD Sennou Chousashitsu)
In 2061 AD, two worlds start to collide with one to the other, the world of reality and the world Metal, accommodated personal memory data within protected virtual stand-alone organic cyber enclaves. There’s an incident that happens and Masamichi Haru must look into the matter that lies between Reality and the Metal.
Overall, Real Drive is a refreshing take on the genre, approaching even present day situations with characters’ struggles and themes such as environment protection.
Eden of The East (Higashi no Eden)
During her graduation trip to America, friendly college student Saki Morimi’s life is forever changed when she finds herself saved from unexpected trouble by Akira Takizawa, who suffers from amnesia and believing himself to be a terrorist. Now, they both get involved in a thrilling death game involving money, cell phones, and the salvation of the world.
This is a very entertaining series, that brings some rather unique and interesting plot that will be able to keep your interest throughout the anime.
The Wind Rises (Kaze Tachinu)
Since childhood, Jirou has always dreamt of designing flying machines like his hero, Italian aviation pioneer Giovanni Battista Caproni. Through disaster, romance, war and loss, Jirou continues to chase that dream, in hopes of taking it to the skies.
This is one of the best movies from the master himself, Hayao Miyazaki.
Otonashi finds out that he is dead and a rifle-toting girl named Yuri explains that they are in the afterlife. Yuri tells him that she leads a war against a girl named Tenshi. Unable to believe Yuri’s claims that Tenshi is evil, Otonashi attempts to speak with her, but the encounter doesn’t go as he intended. Otonashi decides to join the SSS and battle Tenshi, but he finds himself oddly drawn to her.
I strongly recommend Angel Beats! to anyone. It quickly evolves from a funny and comedic show to a dramatic and heartwarming one.
Takumi Nishijou, a high school student at the Private Suimei Academy, hears about the ‘New Gen’ murders that have been occurring around the city, although dismissing the subject because it doesn’t involve him. Then Takumi begins to experience strange mishaps around him, that ranges from a horrific picture he received while on his PC, to a mysterious Pink-Haired girl standing at a murder scene. He struggles to cope with the events unfolding around him, and is soon unaware of what is real or a delusion.seems.
To put this simply, it is a very wow of an anime, as in wow this is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Hundreds of years in the future, the resources of the Earth runs out, and the progression of the human race has stagnated. A boy named Hajiki Sanada lives with his mother and sister in a place called “Night Town”, in which all electricity is shut down at midnight. One day, Hajiki comes in contact with a GAD, an organism that has the ability to reconstruct materials while reacting to feelings of an organic life, by accident and it transforms into a huge robot, which Hajiki names Lightning.
And soon he realizes that he isn’t the only one with a Tekkoudo, and must find out how to deal with those others who he feels is the “same” as himself.
It’s underrated series that people need to get to watching this as soon as possible.
