Admiral Ackbar is a support with debuff cleansing abilities. Let’s take a look at what he has to offer.

Basic Ability: Quick Shot – Deal Physical damage to target enemy with a 55% chance to gain 30% Turn Meter.

Special Ability: It’s a Trap! – Dispell all negative status effects from all allies. Each ally recovers 9% of their Max Health for each effect dispelled this way. Admiral Ackbar has a 25% chance to gain 25% Turn Meter. (4 Turn CD)

Thoughts

Admiral Ackbar is a god send when it comes to cleansing those pesky debuffs from the majority of the debuffers like Darth Sidious, Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Captain Phasma, Old Ben and Count Dooku etc.

Since most of them time you will meet Darth Sidious and his anti healing debuff, you can cleanse it when you really need to and get a nice heal if you have a tonne of debuff on the almost dead character.

His random turn meter gain is useful but can be “wasted” on an almost full meter character. I personally think Ewok Elder is a better all round support but Ewok Elder is not as readily available to farm unlike Admiral Ackbar. For that alone, he is easier to 7 star.

He does lack damage though, so his usefulness comes mostly from cleanse and extra turns for your team.
