Best Bomb Crypto Guide for Beginners [NFT Game]

The Introduction

Welcome to the Bomb Crypto guide for new players. We will be going over all the necessary info to help get you started. This will be especially helpful if this is your first time trying a NFT game. Bomb Crypto brings back the old school classic Bomberman game and turn it into a laid back game where you collect bombers to help you earn Bcoins (game currency) to either gather more strong bombers or sell them to other players.

How to Start Playing Bomb Crypto

In order to play this game, you will need to invest in at least 10 Bcoins to get started. The price of Bcoin will vary depending on when you bought it. For those that are new to NFT play to earn games, I have compiled a list of useful videos to help guide you through the process of getting Bcoins.

Step 1 – Download Metamask Wallet

Here is a useful beginners video on getting one going.

Step 2 – Buy BNB on Binance and Convert it to BUSD

Basic BNB coin buying guide:

Important: Make sure to keep at least $20 worth of BNB or 0.1 BNB to cover gas fees when you are using Bcoins to get stuff from Bomb Crypto.

Step 3 – Converting BNB to BUSD:

Once you have the desired amount setup, you can proceed to the next step. If this is your first time doing this, you can do small amounts to make sure you didn’t make any mistakes.

Step 4 – Transfer BNB and BUSD to Metamask

Important Notes About Play to Earn (P2E) NFT Games

In these types of games, investing some money is usually necessary to get ahead of the game. If you are willing to take the risk, getting in early during the first 2 months of the game launch will give you a nice head start and less investment upfront.

The game itself is also not passive and requires some time investment(10 mins every hour or so) as well to ensure you are able to earn as much Bcoins as possible. Botting is dangerous and can get you easily banned.

Also, during the initial launch phase, there will be many bugs and server downtimes. So, you will not be able to play as much as you want. Expect some disappointment. Also invest only what you can afford to lose!

These links will help you stay in touch with the developers and you have a good idea of what is going on. With that out of the way, let’s go over the basics of the game.

You want to start with at least 1 bomber, which is going to cost 10 Bcoins. The price of Bcoin will depend on when you bought it at. At the time of writing, Bcoin is sitting at $4.15. You can check the prices on Coin Market Cap or Binance.

It is recommended to get at least 10 bombers (= 100 bcoins) so you can get a decent team going. Price will vary for everyone due to the volatility of the coin. So let’s take a look at how much investment you are looking at based on the price of Bcoin at various levels.

In order to get a set of 10 bombers, you will need 100 Bcoins. So at the current rate, you will be looking to invest at least $415 for 10. Also you need some BNB as gas fees, so we will make it $430 total.

As the game progresses, the price may increase and spending $1000 for 10 bombers is not out of the question. Also summoning/minting 10 bombers at once will help you save some gas fees compared to doing it 1 by 1.

The higher the rarity of the bomber, the better their stats and they also have more skills. When you do choose to summon 10, expect 9 commons and 1 Rare or Super Rare. Anything better than that means you have better luck on average. Once you have summoned them, it is time to put them to work!

Treasure Hunt PvM Mode

This is the first mode available. Once you have summoned bombers, they will automatically be placed here to start blasting walls and treasure chests to help you earn Bcoins. Each map can hold up to 15 bombers. So if you can afford 15 summons at the start, it would be the best.

In rare occasions, you will get a Jail Block that is a free bomber summon.

Your goal is to complete the map as fast as possible. With many super rare or higher bombers, you can complete maps quickly and earn some good Bcoins.

Let’s go over the basic stats quickly.

• Power – The damage it deals to chests/walls.
• Speed – How fast the bomber runs. 1 speed = 1 block per second.
• Stamina – 1 point equates to 50 stamina. Placing a bomb consumes 1 stamina. When resting, a hero regenerates 1 energy every 2mins. 50 energy will be fully replenished in 1hr 40min.
• Bomb Num – The number of bombs the bomber can put at any given time.
• Bomb Range – Indicates the length of the bomb explosion. Value of 1, means length of 1 block from the placed bomb

When a bomber uses a bomb, he/she consumes 1 stamina. A speedy bomber that can plant many bombs at a time will use stamina rather quickly, but it will also speed up your treasure hunt runs.

Once your bomber runs out of stamina, it will automatically go to rest mode. There will be a “zZZ” quote on the bomber’s head. Keep in mind that if the game crashes and your bomber is sitting at 1 stamina, it will not recover stamina while the game is closed. You can also manually have a bomber rest by clicking on the rest button. Perhaps the developers might change the feature in the future.

Common bombers usually have 1 power, so it will take 80 bombs to take out a wooden chest by itself.

You can also buy a house for your bombers to rest and recover their stamina quicker. They are costly though, especially for new players. Here is a table of how much time to recharge stamina for bombers thanks to the community spreadsheet.

Note: A hero with Stamina 2 will replenish their energy to full in 3 hrs 20 mins while resting.

Bombers can also have special skills, such as:

• +0.5 energy/min when resting
• move through chests
• move through blocks
• +20% chance of not losing stamina when placing bombs
• +5 damage from prison explosion

For each increased rarity, a bomber will have 1 additional special skill.

Upgrading Bombers

To improve your heroes, you need:

• 1 Hero as material + upgrade cost
• Hero used as material will disappear after upgrade
• Only Hero of the same level can be used as material
• Hero does not need to be of the same rarity
• Upgrade cost vary according to level and rarity
• After upgrading, Power is increased
• No other stat will be increased
• Maximum level is 5

Rate of ROI and Claiming/Selling Your Bcoin

One of the biggest attractions of this game besides being fun to play is that it has a lucrative earning potential based on your level of investment. In order to re-coup your original investment, you want to farm enough Bcoins over a span of time on a consistent basis.

I would always estimate a bit on the lower end since you need to count 8 hours of sleep. There is also a handy calculator that gives you a rough idea on how many days you will break even and earn profits after x amount of days. For example:

So, in roughly 1 month and 10 days, I can get my investment back and the rest are profits. Alternatively, I would earn an average of $324.50 per month. Not too shabby for a $520 investment. Of course, that is if the game and its Bcoin does well. So for such a quick ROI, the risk is also higher.

Another thing worth mentioning is that you have to accumulate up to 40 Bcoins before you can withdraw to your wallet (your wallet also needs at least 1 Bcoin). It will also take 3% withdrawal fee. So do not expect to be able to cash out after a day or 2 unless you invested a lot of money into this!
