General Thoughts
Seymour is a 6-star unit that plays the Magic Attacker role. His HP is pretty good for a magic unit and his trust master gives nice bonuses that reflect even more so in his Traits.
Seymour’s main function is using his black magic. He has Tier 2 and Tier 3 spells of Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, Water, and Dark.
That gives him pretty good elemental coverage as well as having Dual Black Magic which lets him cast two spells in one turn. That gives him a lot of damage capabilities right out of the gate.
He has a damaging skill called Insane Darkness which deals Dark damage while decreasing Dark resistances on the target. This is a great move to use then follow up with double Darkra on the next turn with Dual Black Magic.
Seymour also has a good amount of stat boosts in his Traits so he’s really covered when it comes to being set up for his role. Even his Limit Burst is good, dealing heavy magic damage and increasing damage to undead masters by 100%.
Really the worst part to Seymour is his equipment but just like with Lulu they aren’t focused on having a lot of equipment. Seymour’s purpose is to deal as much damage with his magic as possible and he can do it.
Verdict: A good magic user just like Lulu. Really either one of these units are good to go with it’s all about preference between them.

Lore
A young Guado who sought to rid Spirans from the suffering of existence by destroying the world. Seymour succeeded his father as a Maester of Yevon after the latter’s death. He boasts of incredible summoning powers as proven by his quick elimination of the fiends threatening the port city of Luca, which he disposed of by summoning forth the powerful Aeon known as Anima. Unbeknownst to the people of Luca, however, this had all been a plan devised by Seymour himself to win their trust by saving their lives.
