This was the first shoujo anime to be syndicated in North America, drawing a lot of interest to large number of people who followed it. The anime centers around Usagaji Tsukisho , a.k.a serena, who changes into a Sailor Moon and a soldier of love and justice. However,in her day to day life is just a clumsy cry baby. As a sailor moon, Usagaji is joined by her four colleagues who each represent a planet in the solar system. The five girls are seen to fight the dark kingdom. During their struggle, a charming guy with tuxedo mask appears and to help them. Sailor of moon, despite suffering monster of week syndrome, it does have a lot of humor, compelling character, romance and tragedy. This shoujo anime got a reboot, pretty guardian sailor moon crystal that started in July 2014.

This shoujo anime is about Hitomi Kanzaki a juvenile high school lady who finds herself transported to another world known as Gaia. Her transportation comes when the girl accidentally got involved with Van Fanel, a young prince turn king from Gaia. While in Gaia, Hitomi find herself at the middle of the war that is happening over there in Gaia. Vision Escaflowne has lot for everyone to learn. There is lots of humor, action, drama, romance, tragedy, and adventure. The whole thing is fun watching.

Fushigi Yuugi

Fushigi Yuugi anime is a very imaginable shoujo trope there is. This nime is centered on Miaka Yuugi, who is very lovable despite being underachiever. It happens that Miaka and her best friend Yui, get pulled in a book known as the universe of four gods where Miaka becomes the preistess of suzaku and her friend becomes the presitess of Seiryuu.

The two gathers the seven warriors of their gods in order to summon their respective gods to their wishes granted. The most unfortunate thing is that the two countries Miaka and her friend represent are making them enemies. They develop rivalry because each is in love with, Tamahome, one of the Suzaku Seven. The affair between Tamahome and Miaka is one of the best in anime. Their feelings develop irresistibly. Fushigi Yuugi contains lots of drama, a ton of romance, humor and little of tragedy.

This is a sweet high school anime that focuses on Sawako Kuronuma. Despite being timid, Sawako is very sweet. She desperately wants to make friends but her classmates keep off from her because of her creepy looks. She idolizes shota kazehaya because of his popularity and cheerful personality. She starts making friends immediately when Shota starts talking to her, and slowly love start budding. Kimi ni Todoke is a very sweet anime with great characters.

This anime is full of drama, romance, and lots of humor. It is a very captivating anime that portrays gorgeous animations. It revolves around a girl by the name Utena Tenjou. Utena tenjou gets impressed by the prince and decides that she too want to be a prince. She is a very noble you lady. She becomes involved with matters of student council. Utena become engaged to Anthy Himemiya and she warns her friends from challenging her affair with her new catch.
