Trust Master Rewards – Mateus’s Malice – Weapon [Rod] – Stats: HP +10%, ATK+19, MAG+129
Emperor is a 6 star character with great stats and is very well rounded in his skills. Emperor is a Magic Damage character and might be one of the best in the game.
His basic means of attack will pretty much be his magic. He covers most of the element areas with the high levels of Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Aero.
He also has Flare which is a great and powerful magic attack that seriously deals damage. So utilizing his magic is a great play style to focus on.
He’s kind of a Black Mage meets self Support cause of all his abilities a lot of them boost his ability to cast magic or affects the damage it’ll deal. Dual Black Magic is an easy go to cause it lets him cast two spells in one turn.
So a double Flare is a monstrous way to deal damage but also drain MP real fast. That why he has an MP +20% boost and the ability I’ll Never Die! allowing him to recover 10% MP every turn.
His Control ability is also great for increasing all around damage. Giving him a 100% increase in MAG for 5 turns by decreasing his SPR in return. It’s a good trade off for a character designed to deal heavy damage through magic.
His final ability is Starfall and it’s a great one for someone of his type. Dealing heavy magic damage and ignoring 30% of enemies SPR allowing it to deal even more damage.
So keeping him a steady balance between his magic and the use of his abilities can make him a devastating black mage type character. But the best thing about him is he doesn’t have the major weaknesses of a black mage.
His stats are great for a magic based character so he can be used on the front line with out worrying about being one shot. And his Limit Burst lends a good amount of damage as well.
Fierce Wind deals heavy Wind damage adding more to the elemental coverage and is just an all around good source of damage. So really he’s just a great magic user.
His only real downfall is his equipment and it is a downfall. Because he’s a magic user he doesn’t get any real armor just clothes and robes.
Now his stats make up for what his armor lacks but it would have just set him over the top if he could have legit armor that gave him some extra defense.
Verdict: Great character. Definitely worth using for a magic attacker

The ruler of the empire that a rebel army opposes in tales from a distant world. The Emperor is the leader of the war-hungry empire of Palamecia, and a cruel man who believes in using any means necessary to satisfy his ambitions. He also views the rebel army based in Altair as nothing more than a source of entertainment on his path to world domination.
However, he does kidnap the rebel army’s leader Princess Hilda, in order to draw Firion and his friends to him. Not only does this lead to their first face to face encounter, but this underhanded tactic also results in the rebels’ capture.
