General Thoughts

Elle is a decent character to use much like Kain. He has a strongAoE attacks for a 5 star. His best AoE attack is Splash Throw, which has 2x multiplier. That is decent for a 5 star skill. He can provoke enemies to reduce other squishy targets such as mages/supports from getting attacked. He directs damage to him. He can also counter at 30%.

With a 20% attack boost + 20% more if you equip a spear, he can potentially deal more damage with a good spear. He mostly offers physical and water attacks, so he does have a bit of versatility.

His limit burst gives 50% ignore defense and it is useful against high defense enemies. Use it on big beefy bosses. He can use mid level black magic, so that is always a plus.

The downsides of Elle is that he cannot learn green and white magic. He also has very limited weapon selection (3). But most of the time, he will be using a spear.

Verdict: Train him up for his trust master reward. There are better attackers out there such as Lightning or Noctis.

Lore

A soldier defending the Olderion Federation. Bearing a great sense of duty, he is proud of his place as a soldier. He was born into a noble family, coming from the line of the Wardens of the Waters, a group of people who protect others with special powers.

His brother was a military tactician and his sister was a priestess, but he chose a different path. He decided he would use his own strength to contribute as much as he could.
