General Thoughts
Garnet from FF 9 is one of the best white mages the game has to offer at the moment. I am a little sad that Rydia isn’t anywhere near Garnet’s status considering she is a key character in FF 4. Garnet offers both esper bonus damage and powerful white magic. Like Tellah and Terra, she can revive dead members, which is a vital skill against tough bosses.
Another key skill she has is the High Tide, which gives a boost in limit burst crystal drops. Now, let’s talk about her limit burst, which gives esper summon bar increase while reducing LB cost. Now that’s a step up from Rydia’s limit burst. Her trust master reward gives any character more resistance to elemental attacks. It is best given to tanks!
Her strongest point is healing, which she owns all of the major healing spells. Cure, Cura, Curaga, Curaja and Regen are all useful spells to have. Having her in your party means you won’t ever need to use 2 healing units unless you are fighting tough trial bosses. She can also use mid level green magic.
Her biggest downfall though, is that she has no offensive spells and her physical attack is abysmal. However, there are plenty of characters filling the attacking role so I am fine with her just healing away! She is also quite fragile, lacks defense and has limited armor options.
Verdict: Make her your main healer. She beats others like Roselia and Lenna.

Lore
The princess of Alexandria who appears in tales of Gaia, a world foreign to this one. Dismayed by her mother Queen Brahne’s resolution to invade other countries, she asked Zidane to kidnap her so that she could make her way to Cid, regent of Lindblum. Though her concern for her mother and her country was genuine, having been raised in a castle she knew little of the world, leading her to come across as somewhat self-important during her first journey. However, after hiding away under the false name Dagger, she came to know more of the world, growing more mature in the process.
